I am a military wife, mother and Registered Nurse with a love and longing for a simpler life. My husband is stationed in Bel Air, MD. We have a mini farm of Pygmy Goats, chickens, cats and a dog. I come from a family of soap artisans and loved how using handmade soaps improved not only my skin, but the skin of my sons. They were born with eczema and multiple food allergies and require soaps and lotions that do not contain unnecessary additives and chemicals found in store bought soaps and lotions. When my parents retired from making soap, they taught me their secrets, and Twin Oaks Farm was established.
Hand crafted, small batched Soap
All of my soaps are created the old fashioned way, without the use of unnecessary ingredients. I use the Cold Process method to craft my soaps. The majority of my soaps are made using Goat's milk, as it's a readily available on my farm. I blend olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil and castor oil as a base and then add essential oils and fragrance oils to deliver you a fantastic smelling, bubbly, high lather bar that lasts and feels luxurious on your skin.
Hand crafted oatmeal infused Lotion
The lotion line is created by soaking steel cut oatmeal in distilled water for 24 hours and then strained and mixed with Goat's milk. The antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of the oatmeal help to treat dry skin while goat's milk contains minerals and is loaded in Vitamin A and lactic acids, which are anti-aging and a lifesaver for dry and sensitive skin.
